Draft pending legal review. This page reflects how IEPIQ actually works, but the final Terms must be reviewed by an attorney before launch.
1. What IEPIQ is
IEPIQ is an advisory, educational tool that uses artificial intelligence to compare the text of a child's IEP against the federal IDEA requirements (34 CFR § 300.320) and highlight where the document may not meet them. It is not an assessment, evaluation, or diagnosis of any child, it is not legal advice, and it does not create an attorney-client relationship. It is never a replacement IEP.
2. Accounts
You need an account to use IEPIQ. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for the activity under your account. You must be the parent or legal guardian of the child whose IEP you upload, or otherwise authorized to do so.
3. Reviews, payment, and expiration
Each purchase pays for one IEP document review and up to 20 questions about that review, with no separate question fee. Payment is collected through Stripe at checkout, before you upload and run the review. The price and any valid referral discount are displayed before payment. After results have been delivered, purchases are generally not refundable, except for technical failure, failure to deliver the purchased service, or rights that applicable law does not permit us to exclude. If processing fails, contact admin@mindforgeiq.com so we can restore the review or issue an appropriate refund. Unused purchased reviews do not currently expire. We will not retroactively shorten the validity of an existing purchase. We do not sell more than 100 reviews in a single purchase.
4. Inactive accounts
You may delete your account through Settings. We do not currently delete accounts automatically after a period of inactivity. The Privacy Policy explains the records removed by account deletion and the limited records and backup copies that remain.
5. Acceptable use
Upload only IEPs you are authorized to upload. Do not misuse the service, attempt to breach its security, or use it to provide legal or clinical services to others.
6. No guarantee; limitation of liability
IEPIQ is provided for educational purposes and does not guarantee any educational or legal outcome. [Limitation-of-liability and warranty language to be finalized by counsel.]
