About IEPIQ

Why we built it

Most parents walk into an IEP meeting outmatched — the school has a team that lives in this process every day, and the parent has love, instinct, and a stack of paperwork written in a language nobody explained. IEPIQ exists to close that gap: to give a parent an honest, evidence-cited read on whether their child's IEP actually meets the federal requirements, and the specific questions to bring to the table.

Honest by design

A confidently-wrong compliance tool is worse than no tool at all — it can talk a parent out of a fight worth having. So IEPIQ is built to never falsely reassure you. It will not say a requirement is met without quoting the exact wording in your IEP that proves it. When it can't find that evidence, it tells you plainly: “missing / can't confirm” — never a guess dressed up as an answer.

Privacy is the product

Your child's information is the most sensitive thing you could hand a piece of software. So we keep as little of it as possible. The moment you upload an IEP, every personal detail except your child's first name is masked, and the original file is deleted. Your child's data never leaves the processing boundary to train anyone else's model, and you can delete your account and everything in it at any time.

What IEPIQ is — and isn't

IEPIQ compares the text of your IEP to the federal IDEA requirements (34 CFR § 300.320) and helps you prepare. It is not an assessment, evaluation, or diagnosis of your child, it is not legal advice, and it is never a replacement IEP. For legal or clinical decisions, you should consult a licensed attorney, advocate, or clinician.

Who's behind it

IEPIQ is built by MindForgeIQ LLC. We're a small team that believes the families who most need leverage in these rooms are the least likely to have it — and that honest software, held to a never-bluff standard, can help level the table.
